Seven Days of the Cracked Soul

Mystic Ancestor Xu Zhiling dies in tribulation, his soul inhabiting the General’s Manor heir cursed with Soul-Shattering Spell, with merely seven days to live. He heads to the capital alongside red-robed spirit Luo Qingran. He cracks bizarre mysteries including the Zhao Manor young lady’s wrongful sentence with mystic magic to extend his lifespan, and uncovers the original host’s murder. All crimes lead to the Crown Prince’s forbidden formation, crafted to bring his dead mother back. At the autumn hunt enclosure, Xu Zhiling terminates the mad sacrificial rite, then wanders the world with his apprentice.
